Play the Player or Be played...right?

I have had a few good FWB(friend with benefits) until I met this guy.He told me if I gave up all my guy friends he would date me.So,I did.One day I was with my best friend and he started texting her.Telling her shes pretty and lets not tell Anna about this.As my best friends she shown me the texts and said she was sorry.I want to tell him off but he comes back and is sweet to me.H e always said he just tries to make me mad to prove I care.Am I being played or what?I can't tell him about her texts because he would get mad at her but I want an explanation..What do I do?
