Why do people want to ban rifles/shotguns with certain features?

ok. ok. ok. 1st of all, if i want to buy a gun, whether its "ault weapon" style (of which i own 2) or a single shot .22, i should be able to. owning 5 guns is nothing. i own 13. i have a friend who owns close to 30! another that owns 10. do we plan on robbing a bank, NO. collecting guns, plinking, target shooting, hunting, its just a hobby. its what we like to do in our spare time. the more guns you have the more interested you probably are in said hobbies. do i own a $5000 bicycle, no. that's not my hobby. do i want to ban expensive bikes, no. i dont care about bikes. same rules apply to artwork, car restorations, surf boading, whatever. its a hobby, GET OVER IT. the only reason people dont like that "people like me" collect guns is because my "artwork" does more that just sit on the wall. if i wanted to blow my face off by try to build my own gun, that should be my concern, not the F'n govs.
