We received a used computer and it has a pcode on it to access it, How do we byp it?

My friends got this from a sale or something, they gave it to us for our youngster... it turns on and then there is the pcode screen.. It's a gateway.. Just wondered if there was anyway to access the computer? or what we could do? There is no way we will be able to find the people who had this before.. Thanks!1
