Any gynecologist or female who can help me with a problem? please?

i got my period when i was like 13 and i tried using tampons and it hurt so badly getting it in but i finally got it. but when i tried to take it out it hurt so bad that i was hysterically crying. yes i left it in for about 3 or 4 hours and i was heavy that day so i know it got soaked up and its the regular size. im 16 now and i still have the same problem. i know this may sound gross but my friend told me i may have a problem with a "thick hymen" that's just what i heard of. so i literally sat on the counter in my bathroom in front of the mirror and checked and the outside of the hole is like a flower, is what it reminds me of. and its beyond small. i also looked on google to see diagrams of 's and the way the hole looks on there is much larger then mine. ive talked to my dad about taking me to the gynecologist and he said he'd take me but hasn't yet, but i just want to know what i might be in for. my friends mom told me that i should use my fingers to stretch it out, and that's all i need to do. but ive been doing that and it hurts so bad i have to stop. ive been dating my boyfriend for about over a year now and i want to have but i know that its not possible. please help me.
