Can i play portal 2with this graphics card?

I recently downloaded portal 2 and i launched it and it went through the intro then it can to a screen where it said portal 2 with a picture of some part of the game and it freezes and then i closes and says portal.2.exe has stopped working. what i was wondering with my graphics card, intel pentium p6000, can i play this game or is this to much of a sucky graphics card? Thanks!
