Does anyone know of a (clear) coating I can apply on a goalie helmet to make it scratch-resistant?

Needs to be able to take impacts from hard plastic pucks. The coating needs to be clear and able to stick without primer. If anyone knows what type of coating Itech or Warwick use for their helmets, that works nicely. Many thanks to whoever answers this.
