Dropped a mercury thermometer?

after using a mercury themometer i put it back in its case. when walking to the cabinet where it was originally it slipped out of the case and fell on the floor. there were silver (mercury) on the ground and but i didnt know they were toxic so for like two minutes i played with them with my fingers by trying to sqeeze them and pick them up, i couldnt even do either of them. then i used a broom and pan i swept all of them into the pan and then looked on the internet to see how to clean mercury and i saw that it was toxic, so i took the pan and put it in an empty trash can outside and washed my hands a few times and my feet once since i was barefoot. i dont feel wierd or anything and i tried the magnet method on the floor and then threw the magnet out, but i didnt see any mercury on the magnet anyway. am i alright?
