Have other animals evolved like humans have?

Yep. Every change is very small, so a dog is never going to give birth to something that doesn't look almost exactly like a dog, and so on. But very small changes build up over time until the new 'dog' isn't the same species as, say, the one from 300 generations ago - they couldn't have reproduced with each other.
