If Jesus died for all sins, then all someone has to "do" is repent and believe?

+++++Repenting is not works, it's having a contrite spirit, in other words being sorry for your sins. It's having faith in the finished work of the cross, and asking for forgiveness. Trusting that Jesus paid for your sins. Once you do that, works are when you do things like feed the hungry, spread the Gospel etc. This is how we are rewarded in heaven, Faith without works is dead. When a person comes to Jesus...these things really seem to become natural because we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Some Christians won't be receiving any crowns, they barely get in by the skin of their teeth. Read 2nd Corinthians Chapter 5 for all the details. There is no such thing as not repenting enough..in other words you repent for your sins. You don't have to name them one by one, because God already knows. When I repented, I was so ashamed of all the sins I had committed in front of God. They became so vile to me, when I was doing them I didn't realize how bad satan had blinded me. Now I hate what God hates and that is sin. Never gave it a second thought before when I was lost. I hope this answered your question. +++++++
