What can you buy in El Salvador for 5 U.S dollars?

I got some awesome souvenirs in the shops at the airport in El Salvador for US$5 (by the way, the US dollar is the official currency of El Salvador). If I recall correctly, much of what I got was about $5. I got a package of coffee, a pretty necklace, a little airplane version of the typical bus-overflowing-with-people-and-stuff... Sorry I can't remember more, but they were all things to give to friends when I got back. I do remember being pleasantly surprised that I could find fun, low-cost items in airport shops!
