I see where you're going with this, but I still disagree that most Christians would be this extreme. I do, however, agree with the sentiment that the prejudices and intolerance of many conservative Christian fundamentalists is internalized for fear of being (rightly) labeled a racist, , etc. You can often witness this in the form of the disparity between public polling and anonymous voting.
